Swimming Coach & Primary School Teacher

Piper

Piper is a vibrant and caring primary teacher, currently teaching Year 1/new entrants. She has extensive experience with children in and around the water, including lifeguarding, pool management, and teaching both small group and whole-class swimming lessons. First aid trained and certified, Piper loves organising school swimming sports and helping students refine their techniques while building confidence and a love of learning.

Professional Pianist & Piano Teacher 

Jovana

Jovana is a classically trained pianist and accomplished performer with formal music school qualifications and multiple awards from international competitions across Europe. A specialist in classical repertoire and technique, she brings a deep understanding of musical theory, expression, and performance. Jovana specialises in classical repertoire but enjoys helping students explore a range of styles, building confidence, skill, and a genuine appreciation for piano performance.

Swimming Coach & PE Teacher

Alex

Having taught at Brisbane Girls Grammar, Alex is an experienced swimming instructor who has taught and developed tailored swim programs for students of all ages at Aqua Artist Swim School. She excels at creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment, helping each swimmer achieve their personal goals while fostering confidence and water safety skills.

Music Tutor – Guitar, Bass, Vocals & Composition

Birdie

Birdie is a passionate musician and student counsellor with experience teaching guitar, bass, vocals, and songwriting. A former music tutor at Kaipara College, Birdie fosters creativity and confidence in students through engaging, supportive lessons. She is experienced in preparing students for Rockquest and NZ Musician competitions. Birdie creates a safe and encouraging space where learners can express themselves, build performance confidence, and develop a lifelong love of music.

Swimming Coach & Primary School Teacher

Zoe

Zoe is a dedicated and nurturing Primary teacher who has a strong background in swim coaching. She has taught swimming and worked as a lifeguard gaining valuable experience supporting children in and around the water. Zoe holds a Swim Teachers Award and is passionate about helping students build confidence, independence, and water safety skills. Described as bubbly and animated, she makes learning engaging and fun!

Clarinet Tutor and Primary Teacher 

Charlotte 

Charlotte is an experienced clarinetist who played from a young age through to the highest grade levels in the UK, performing in orchestras and touring locally and across Europe. With a strong foundation in music theory and a background as a primary teacher, she builds warm, supportive connections that help students feel confident and engaged. Charlotte also teaches beginner piano and recorder, encouraging a love of music through fun and accessible lessons.

Drumming Teacher

Alex

Alex is an accomplished drummer and music tutor with extensive experience teaching both drums and guitar across Auckland schools and privately. A NZQA Scholarship recipient in Drum Kit and Grade 8 with Distinction (Trinity College London), Alex combines strong technical skill with real-world performance experience, including studio work and national competitions. He creates engaging, structured lessons that build confidence and help students make clear progress, whether they are beginners or preparing for exams. Alex fosters a supportive and motivating environment where students develop their skills, grow in confidence, and build a genuine love of music.

Piano Teacher

Mae

Mae is a calm and caring piano teacher who works with students of all ages, creating a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable and confident. Based in Stonefields, Auckland, she is happy to travel locally to support families where needed. Mae offers engaging, personalised lessons that cover everything from beginner basics through to exam preparation and music theory. She brings a patient, encouraging approach to every session, making learning piano both fun and rewarding while helping students build strong skills and a genuine love of music.

Pricing

Swimming

$50 for the first child (30 mins)*
$35 for each additional child*

Music

$75 for 45 mins**
$90 per hour**

*Swimming lessons can take place at your home pool or a local pool.

**1:1 private tuition

Please note: If a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time or there is a no show, a $50 payment will also be required to cover the teacher’s reserved time.
