Jenny and Kelly bring over two decades of combined experience in teaching and education.
Jenny started her career in UK primary schools before teaching older students and completing a Masters in Education, graduating with distinction for her research on raising student achievement. She loves inspiring and supporting her students as they learn and grow.
Kelly also began in primary education and has worked across multiple age groups. As a senior leader, she has guided schools with her expertise and now enjoys mentoring new teachers entering the profession.
Together, they share a deep belief in the power of education and care to nurture children, build confidence, and make a lasting difference.

We’re Jenny and Kelly - teachers, mums, and the founders of The Teacher’s Connections. As both educators and parents, we know how important it is for families to feel supported, whether that’s finding the right tutor to help a child build confidence at school or a trusted babysitter to care for little ones so parents can take a well-deserved break. For years, we were the ones people came to asking, “Do you know a great tutor?” or “Do you know a reliable babysitter?” and we realised families were searching for the same thing - a safe, trusted place to turn. That’s why we created The Teacher’s Connections: to bring together qualified teachers from across Aotearoa who are ready to support, encourage, and care for children of all ages, both in learning and in life.
